1/2 kg fresh green broad beans
1 dry onion
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 teaspoons of capers
İçim Chef For the cream sauce
2 tbsp İçim Butter
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp İçim Chief Cream
240 ml İçim Süt
İçim Chef For the cream sauce, start cooking the İçim Chef cream, milk and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour slowly and stir constantly until it thickens. When it thickens, remove it from the fire.
Wash the broad beans thoroughly. Remove the grains and place them in a bowl. Boil the broad beans in boiling water with plenty of salt for 3-4 minutes. Meanwhile, set aside a large bowl of cold water filled with ice. Shock the boiled broad beans by placing them in this cold water. This will stop the pods from cooking and preserve their vibrant green color.
Chop the onion and sauté it in a pan with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. When the onions start to change color, drain the broad beans and add them to the pan. Sauté for another 1-2 minutes, add salt and pepper.
Sprinkle capers on the broad beans you placed on a deep serving plate. Pour the İçim Chef Cream sauce prepared with İçim Chef Cream on top.
If you wish, you can decorate it with mint and thyme or grated nutmeg.
