Ak Gıda-İçim Süt participated in the global environmental cleanup organized on September 17, World Cleanup Day, with its employees and their families. This year, Ak Gıda-İçim Süt volunteers collected garbage in six different cities at the same time, drawing attention to the importance of a clean nature for a sustainable future.
More than 200 volunteers, consisting of Ak Gıda-İçim Süt employees and their families, participated in the World Clean-up Day civil environmental movement organized in 190 countries around the world under the leadership of the non-governmental organization Let’s Do It! Ak Gıda-İçim Süt volunteers collected garbage in a total of 6 provinces, including Istanbul and Izmir, Sakarya, Kahramanmaraş, Karaman and Kırklareli, where the production facilities are located.
Ali Sözen, CEO of Ak Gıda – İçim Süt, who participated in the cleaning movement in Istanbul together with Ak Gıda – İçim Süt volunteers, said that the company carries the sensitivity it reflects in its business processes regarding environmental cleanliness and protection of natural resources to the daily lives and volunteering activities of its employees.
Ali Sözen said, “As Ak Gıda- İçim Süt, we care about protecting nature, using resources efficiently, reducing waste and expanding recycling for a sustainable future.
