Fried Cauliflower Balls Recipe

Ingredients

(For 6 People)

500 g cauliflower
100 g İçim Kashar Cheese, grated
100 gr İçim Milk
100 g flour
60 g corn flour
60 g breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1 sprig of fresh mint leaves
Frying oil
Salt, black pepper

Preparation

Beat an egg with İçim Milk. Add the flour, a pinch of salt, and pepper to the mixture. After adding the İçim Kashar Cheese, the remaining egg and breadcrumbs, mix until you get a homogeneous mixture. Continue beating with a wire whisk until you get a slurry. Put the cauliflower in a pot, add water to it and put it on the stove. After it starts to boil, boil it for 10 minutes. Drain the boiled cauliflower florets, cool them under water and pat dry.

Transfer the cauliflower to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and dip well in the slurry you have prepared first and then in the corn flour. Fry the cauliflower balls in hot oil until they turn pink. Put the browned balls on a paper towel and remove the excess oil. Sprinkle them with salt and serve them hot, accompanied by mint leaves.
