Cherry Puff Pastry Recipe

Ingredients

( for 4 people )

250 g puff pastry
100 ml cherry juice
50 ml pomegranate molasses
25 ml İçim Chief Cream
20 g rice flour
30 cherries, cut in half, pitted
2.5 tablespoons sugar
1 pinch of powdered sugar
1 vanilla pod
1 teaspoon of İçim Butter

Preparation

Put the pomegranate molasses in a saucepan with 1 tablespoon of sugar and a piece of vanilla and heat it. Whisk the cherry juice with İçim Şef Krema, rice flour and 1½ tablespoons sugar in a bowl. Strain the boiled molasses and add it to the mixture. Cook all the ingredients over medium heat, stirring until they come to a boil. Add a tablespoon of butter and mix well. Pour the cream into a large bowl and let it cool covered. Cut 12 rectangles from the puff pastry. Bake the dough pieces in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until crisp.

Put 1 teaspoon of İçim Butter in a pan and heat it. Swirl the cherries in the pan, stirring quickly. Squeeze a strip of cream with a pastry cone in the middle of the 4 puff pastry you have cooked and place the cherries on the edges. After completing the same process for all 4 pieces, garnish with cherries, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
