Clove Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

300 g dark chocolate 250 g butter
150 g powdered sugar
150 g brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 egg yolk
100 g walnut
70 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
70 g cocoa
1 teaspoon powdered cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the cake mold and line it with greaseproof paper. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a bain-marie. Mix the butter, powdered sugar and brown sugar until you get a homogeneous texture. Gently fold the egg and egg yolk into the mixture. Add the melted chocolate, stirring rapidly. Chop the walnuts and add. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, cocoa, cloves and cinnamon. Gradually mix the dry mixture into the liquid ingredients with a spatula. Pour the mixture into the cake mold. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes until the edges and top are cooked through and the center is soft. After removing it from the oven, let it rest for 30 minutes without removing it from the bowl. Garnish with cocoa powder and cinnamon and serve warm or cold.
