Frying Anchovies with Tarator Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

( for 4 people )

400 g Black Sea anchovy
250 g flour
2 bottles of cold soda
1 tea glass of cold water
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon hazelnut oil
for Tarator
3 tablespoons of bread crumbs
3 garlic cloves, chopped
250 gr İçim Strained Yogurt
100 g walnut kernels
2 tablespoons
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

Wash the cleaned anchovies well with cold water and dry them. After it dries, sprinkle it with salt and pepper and put it in the refrigerator.

Cool all the ingredients for the tempura sauce in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Sift the flour into a pot. Add soda, salt, black pepper and paprika and mix. When it thickens, first dip the fish into the flour and then into the tempura sauce we have prepared.

Fry in deep and hot hazelnut oil for 1-1.5 minutes. For the Tarator, mix İçim Strained Yogurt with all the remaining ingredients.

Obtain a homogeneous consistency and serve with anchovy tempura.
