Lamb Leg Recipe with Rosemary

Ingredients

(For 6 People)

2 kg leg of lamb with bones
5 cloves garlic, sliced
2 sprigs of thyme, leaves left on branch
2 tablespoons of sea salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tbsp İçim Butter

Preparation

İçim Melt the butter in a large sauce pan. Remove from the stove, when it cools slightly, add sea salt and salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 220°C.

Wash the leg of lamb in cold water. Make cuts on the leg of lamb with a sharp knife and coat it thoroughly with the garlic and melted butter sauce you have prepared.

Cover a large baking dish with baking paper. Place the meat on top and garnish with thyme. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Reduce the oven temperature to 180°C and bake for another 45 minutes. Bake for another 15 minutes to ensure that the leg of lamb with a pink center is well done.

Serve the leg of lamb after taking it out of the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
