Mysterious Taste (Artichoke Dessert) Recipe

2 medium-sized artichokes

For Sherbet

4 tablespoons of sugar
5-6 drops of lemon juice
1 clove
300 ml of water

For the cream

1 pack of İçim Cream (200 ml)
200 gr İçim Labneh
3 teaspoons powdered sugar
2 teaspoons honey
For Kadayif
1.5 tablespoon of butter
150 g crushed raw kadayif
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
70 g chopped walnuts

To decorate the dessert and the serving plate

Caramel (2.5 tablespoons granulated sugar, half tablespoon İçim Butter, 50 ml İçim Milk)
Vanilla ice cream
6 medium strawberries
Orange zest
3 walnut kernels
Dark chocolate sauce


Preparation of Artichokes: Clean the artichokes so that only the bowl part is used and rub the artichokes with 1 medium-sized lemon. Add 300 ml of water into the pot, add the artichokes, cloves, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 6-7 drops of lemon juice, turn on the heat and close the lid. After the water boils, add 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and continue cooking over low heat.

Preparation of the Cream: Whisk 200 gr İçim Cream with a mixer for 3 minutes, add 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar into the cream in 3 pieces and continue whisking with a mixer. When the mixture is completely mixed, add 200 gr İçim Labne and whisk with a whisk or spoon. Finally, add 2 teaspoons of honey, whisk with a spoon and place in the lower part of the refrigerator to set.

Preparation of Caramel Add 2.5 tablespoons of sugar into a medium saucepan and continue on low heat as soon as you see that the sugar on medium heat starts to caramelize. When the sugar is completely caramelized, add half a tablespoon of butter and stir. After the butter is cooked, slowly add 50 ml of İçim Milk and stir. Turn off the heat as soon as it thickens. Preparation of Kadayif Take 1.5 tablespoon of İçim Butter into the pan and melt it. Then put 150 g of crushed raw kadayıf and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar into the pan and roast them. When the kadayıf starts to turn pink, add the crushed walnuts and roast a little more; when the kadayıf turns golden, turn off the heat and take it to a plate.

Place the cream inside the artichokes after they have cooled. Add the roasted walnut kadayıf over the cream. Put the artichokes on a serving plate and top with orange zest, caramel and some walnuts. Garnish with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, walnuts and chocolate sauce. Enjoy your meal 🙂
