Spinach Fresh Cake Recipe

Ingredients

(for 2 people)

1 cup spinach
3 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tea glass of oil
1 packet of vanillin
2 cups flour

For the Cream

2 cups of İçim Milk
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons sugar
Half a pack of İçim Labneh

For Topping

2 packets of whipped cream
1 cup cold İçim Milk

Preparation

1. First, clean the spinach.
2. Finely chop the spinach and boil it in its own water. Then puree it in a food processor.
3. Add the egg, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, vanillin and flour to the puree and whisk.
4. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for approximately 25-30 minutes until it is cooked like a cake.
5. While waiting for the baked cake to rest, cook the whipped cream with İçim Milk and let it cool.
6. In a saucepan, mix İçim Milk, flour, sugar and İçim Labne until it boils and reaches the consistency of custard.
7. After resting the cooked cake, spread it out and pour the warm custard between the cakes.
8. Cover and spread the whipped cream.
9. You can eat it after two hours in the fridge. Enjoy your meal.

Tip : It is very important that you have pureed the spinach in a food processor for a long time so that you do not taste the spinach while eating the cake.
