Strawberry Tart Recipe

Ingredients

400 g flour
100 gr İçim Butter
1½ tablespoon salt
1 kg strawberries, washed and sorted
75 g sugar
70 g corn starch
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 vanilla pod, scraped out
2 tbsp İçim Chief Cream
70 ml cold water

Preparation

Mix the flour, İçim Butter and salt with a mixer. Add 70 ml of cold water and mix until a dough forms. Take the dough and divide it in half. Once it is smooth, wrap it with cling film and leave it to cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees. In a bowl, mix the strawberries, salt, sugar, cornstarch, orange juice and zest. Take the tart dough out of the refrigerator and roll out thinly with a rolling pin. Place gently into the round tart mold and shape the edges. Fill with the strawberry mixture you have prepared. Cut equal strips from the remaining tart dough and place them on top of your strawberry tart to form a lattice. Spread İçim Şef Krema on it, sprinkle a spoonful of granulated sugar and bake for about 1 hour until it turns golden brown. Remove from the oven and warm for 5 minutes before serving.
