Apple Bread Recipe

Ingredients

(For 6 People)

500 g grain bread flour
2 teaspoons dry yeast
1 teaspoon of İçim Butter
1 apple
2 tsp molasses

Preparation

In a large bowl, mix 250 ml of water, grain bread flour and dry yeast and knead with your hands. When it becomes a homogeneous dough, cover it and let it rest and ferment for 2 hours. Peel the apple and cut it into cubes. Cook in a saucepan for 15 minutes, adding a little water to it. If you run out of water while cooking, add extra water. When the apples are cooked, drain the water and set aside. Mix the apples with 1 teaspoon of İçim Butter and molasses with gentle movements. Divide the fermented bread dough into 6 equal parts. Roll and flatten each of them. Divide the apples in the middle and press down on them.

Place the bread at intervals on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle flour on top and leave for another 1 hour, recovering. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
