Bulgur Pilaf with Tomatoes Recipe

Ingredients

500 g bulgur
3 spoon butter
2 medium onions
1 green pepper, chopped
4 tomatoes
5 cups hot water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tsp mint

Preparation

Wash bulgur thoroughly and drain. Chop the onions into small pieces. Peel the skins of 4 tomatoes and grate them finely. Melt İçim Butter in a separate bowl. Add the onions. Turn them in the pan until they change color. Add bulgur.

Continue cooking, stirring, for about 8 minutes. Add tomatoes and pepper. Optionally, you can also add 1 teaspoon of tomato or pepper paste. Add salt and pepper.

Pour enough boiled water to cover the bulgur. Close the lid and let it boil. Once done, remove it from the stove and leave it to rest.
Serve hot. Enjoy your meal.
