Cannoli Recipe

Ingredients

( for 2 people )

For the dough

50 g butter
25 g granulated sugar
1 egg
1 pinch of salt
1 packet of vanilla
250 g sifted flour
4 tablespoons of rose wine

For the inner cream:
400 g labneh
200 g powdered sugar
Lemon essence
1 tablespoon of blackstrap molasses

For frying:
Lots of olive oil or sunflower oil

For the top:
Powdered sugar
Chocolate drops
Other hush ingredients as desired

Preparation

Dough: We start by mixing the butter, granulated sugar, a pinch of salt and one egg (reserve a little of the white). After stirring, add 4 spoons of rose wine. We gradually add the sifted flour to the mixture, then add the vanilla and knead it.

When the dough does not stick to the hand after it recovers, we stop kneading. Wrap it in cling film and rest it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Inner Cream Pour the labne cheese into a bowl. Add the powdered sugar. Then we add a little lemon e chance according to the request. Divide the filling cream into a separate bowl to make two colors. Pour a spoonful of blackberry molasses and mix. Our cream is ready. We take our dough out of the refrigerator. We make 2 meringues. Roll out the dough thinly. Because we want it to be crispy when we fry it. After rolling out, we cut our dough with round molds. We’re greasing our cannoli losses. If we don’t have molds, we can make cylinders out of aluminum foil. We wrap the dough in the mold.

We use the separated egg white to glue the ends of the counted doughs. Fry in olive oil or sunflower oil. Cool it a little and fill it with the filling with a piping bag. Decorate with powdered sugar and chocolate drops. Enjoy your meal.
