500 ml sunflower oil
16 zucchini flowers, cleaned and pistil part removed
1 egg
2 tbsp flour
180 ml İçim Milk
4 tablespoons İçim Fresh Cheese
To prepare the liquid dough, separate the egg into two separate bowls. Cover the egg white and let it cool. Mix egg yolk, flour and milk together until a homogeneous consistency is reached.
In another bowl, whisk the egg white until stiff. Add the mixture to the egg yolk by folding from bottom to top.
Place the oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium heat. To fill the flowers, place 1 teaspoon of İçim White Cheese inside the flowers. Hold the flowers by their petioles or ends and cover them by dipping them thoroughly into the dough. Carefully place the flowers on the hot fire in the pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes, turning constantly, until they become golden crispy.
Remove the florets from the pan with a wide, slotted serving spoon. Remove the oil by keeping it on a paper towel.
Serve by sprinkling salt, some grated İçim Fresh Cheese and optional spices on top.
