Rice Tart Recipe

Ingredients

( for 4 people )

1,2 lt İçim Süt
200 g rice
150 g granulated sugar
60 g caster sugar
60g peeled almonds, minced
50 g almonds
4 eggs, yolks and whites separated
1/2 orange zest
İçim Butter
Salt

Preparation

Add a little salt to the milk and bring to a boil. When the milk boils, add the rice and cook for 20 minutes. You will get a very soft rice. Remove from heat and add 60 g of granulated sugar and powdered sugar. While mixing this soft rice, add the almonds, 1 teaspoon of İçim Butter and orange zest. Set aside and allow to cool. Beat the egg yolks with the rest of the sugar in a mixer and foam well. Beat the egg whites in a mixer with a pinch of salt and foam.

Finally, mix the egg whites and yolks with the rice and pour the whole mixture into a rectangular baking dish. Bake in a 175C oven for 50-55 minutes. Sprinkle almonds with filet almonds without taking them out of the oven and serve them by removing them from the oven when they are lightly browned.
