Fried Cheese Falafel Recipe

Ingredients

( for 4 people )

250 g boiled chickpeas
450 g pumpkin, sliced
35 g bulgur
1 green pepper
1 teaspoon red chili pepper
1 teaspoon fennel
2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
½ bunch chopped coriander
juice of 1 lemon
55 g flour
150 gr İçim Fresh White Cheese
4 tablespoons frying oil

Preparation

Cut the pumpkin into 2 cm pieces and put it in the oven at 180 C.

After taking it out of the oven, pour melted İçim Butter on top. Slowly add all the ingredients except the flour and İçim Fresh White Cheese. Mix well and puree until you get a smooth mixture.

Stir in salt and pepper. After waiting for a while, add flour and İçim Fresh White Cheese. Puree by mixing well once more. Leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

When the dough reaches a sticky but not wet state, take it from the fridge and wet your hands. Take small pieces from the dough and roll them into balls.

Heat the frying oil in a pan, when it reaches 180°C, drop the balls into the pan and fry for no more than 4 minutes.

Remove from oil and dry thoroughly on paper towels. Serve hot.
